We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With garages and service providers on our platform, solely to fulfil your bookings (e.g., your name, phone number, vehicle details, and selected services).
• With payment processors (Stripe) to process transactions securely.
• With service providers that power features of the app: Google Maps and Google Places (maps and place search; the text you type in the search box is sent to Google), OpenStreetMap Nominatim (turning garage coordinates into addresses), Expo (delivering push notifications), Twilio (sending SMS verification codes), and Apple or Google when you choose to sign in with them.
• With analytics providers (Google Analytics, Vercel Analytics) in anonymized or aggregated form to improve our platform.
• When required by law, regulation, legal process, or government request.
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of Aucust Inc., our users, or the public.

We take the security of your personal information seriously. We implement industry-standard measures to protect your data, including:

• Encryption of data in transit (TLS/SSL) and at rest.
• Strict access controls limiting data access to authorized personnel only.
• Regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Secure authentication mechanisms including JWT-based token management with automatic refresh.

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.

Studio24 uses the following types of cookies and tracking technologies:

• Essential cookies: Required for the platform to function properly, including authentication and session management.
• Analytics cookies: Used via Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics to understand how users interact with our platform. This data is collected in aggregated form.

• Deletion: Delete your account at any time on the website (Account → Delete account) or in the mobile app (Account → Account settings & delete account), or ask us to delete your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Opt-out: Unsubscribe from marketing communications at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in our emails or contacting us directly.
• Portability: Request your data in a structured, machine-readable format.

• Active accounts: Your personal data is retained for as long as your account remains active and as needed to provide our services.
• Deleted accounts: Deleting your account removes your account, profile, saved vehicles and requests immediately. Invoices and bookings still in progress are kept as required by law, with your personal details removed from completed bookings. Some data may persist in backups for up to 30 days.
• Transaction records: Financial and booking records are retained for 7 years in compliance with UAE commercial and tax regulations.
• Analytics data: Aggregated, anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely as it cannot be used to identify you.

Studio24 is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have inadvertently collected data from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete such information promptly. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at studio24@aucust.com.

Your data is primarily processed and stored in the United Arab Emirates using AWS cloud infrastructure. Data may be processed in AWS regions outside the UAE to ensure platform reliability and performance. We ensure that any international transfers of personal data comply with applicable data protection laws and that appropriate safeguards are in place.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or for other operational reasons. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. Your continued use of Studio24 after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
